I loved it. Not just the writing, but because everything was needed. There was so little "filler", if you missed a page, you likely missed something important. And the writer does us the favor of nicely merging everything together at the end, leaving me in wonder and questioning so much...

While I appreciate the look into the prejudice of Israelites vs Palestinians, I struggled with reading this book for its entirety. I would read several pages, and realize I was so bored that my mind had wandered, and I had to backtrack and re-read to know what I'd just read. The only positive thing about this book was that it led to fruitful conversation about Palestine and Israel with fellow readers.

It was a slow start, leaving you wondering for awhile what the plot was, then once the 'twist' happened, it was intriguing, yet too many unanswered questions, too much vagueness. A great idea, and a nice plotline, but a bit underwhelming.
