Rules:
Impact Hits
Lance Formation:
Any Cavalry unit with this rule may deploy in the Lance formation and/or reform into it during the game. A unit in Lance Formation follows the Ranks and Supporting Attacks rules for Monstrous Cavalry -- in effect, if a unit of Bretonnian Knights is ever formed exactly three models wide, it counts as being in Lance Formation (wider than three models loses it), and it may form up to 5 ranks deep. A Damsel or Prophetess may stand in the centre of the second rank instead of the front rank (a second one in the centre of the third rank); she remains fully in play (Leadership, casting, etc.) even though she has no line of sight while not in the front rank, and moves forward to fill the gap if the rank in front of her ever drops below three models. On a turn the unit makes a successful charge, models with this rule make Supporting Attacks from an extra rank and add their current Rank Bonus to the Strength of their Impact Hits; if the unit wins that round of combat, it also counts as having double its actual Unit Strength for the purpose of the enemy's Steadfast check.
Questing Vow:
Models with this rule have Immunity (Panic) caused by friendly models, and may re-roll failed Psychology tests. They may only join units with the Knight's Vow or Questing Vow. In addition, they ignore Initiative penalties from using great weapons in any turn they charge, but may not use a lance (unless specified).
Blessing of the Lady:
Models with this rule have a Ward save (6+), increased to a Ward save (5+) against missile attacks. Models with the Grail Vow always have a Ward save (5+). This Ward save can never be improved beyond (4+) by any means, and is lost if the model flees for any reason or refuses a challenge.
Valourous Ballads:
At the start of each of Tristan's turns, declare which song (if any) he is singing; its effect lasts until the start of his next turn, when he may continue the same song or choose another. He may only sing one song at a time, and stops immediately if he flees or is slain. The Battle-hymn of Quenelles: Tristan adds +D3 combat resolution to any fight he is in. The Grail Chorale: the Ward save from the Blessing of the Lady is increased by +1 for the unit accompanying Tristan. The Anthem of the Uniter: Tristan and any unit he has joined are Stubborn.
Virtue of Noble Disdain:
The Knight Hates all enemies using missile weapons, including war machine crews. Any unit he has joined never takes Panic tests caused by suffering 25% casualties from Shooting or Magic.
