Characteristics Tests

A characteristic test can be called for against any characteristic except Leadership (which uses its own Leadership test instead). To take one, roll a D6 and compare it to the relevant characteristic on the model's profile -- a result at or under that value passes, a result over it fails.

If a unit as a whole must take the test, use the single highest value for that characteristic among its models. If every model in the unit must test individually, each uses its own best value.

Automatic Pass and Fail

A natural roll of 1 always passes a characteristic test, and a natural 6 always fails it, regardless of any other modifiers. A model with a characteristic of 0 or "-" automatically fails any test against it.
