Victory Points Chart
To determine the result, add up both players' final victory points and subtract the lower total from the higher. Divide that difference by the size of the battle itself (in points), then consult the chart below.

| 25-49 | Solid Victory |
| 50+ | Massacre! |
For example, in a 2,500-point battle where Player 1 scores 1,000 victory points and Player 2 scores 1,500, the difference is 500 -- dividing 500 by 2,500 gives 20%, a Marginal Victory for Player 2.
A player who concedes automatically gives their opponent a Massacre -- though players are free to negotiate gentler surrender terms if they'd rather.
