Move Fleeing Unit

If the fleeing unit's roll beat its pursuers' (or it wasn't pursued at all), it has escaped -- turn it about its centre to face directly away from the enemy unit, then move it straight forward a distance equal to its Flee roll. This works exactly like a flee move in the Movement phase, running through or around other units and terrain as needed.

Restraining Units Reform

A unit that restrained instead of pursuing (or wiped out the enemy without overrunning) can now make an ordinary reform, exactly as in the Movement phase.

Diagram showing a flee roll compared against a pursuit roll, with the fleeing unit escaping.
1. The red unit rolls its flee distance and the blue unit rolls its pursuit. The red unit has rolled higher and escapes.
Diagram showing the red unit pivoting about its centre to face directly away from the blue unit.
2. The red unit pivots around its centre until it is facing directly away from the blue unit.
Diagram showing the red unit fleeing forward a distance equal to its Flee roll.
3. The red unit then flees directly forwards a number of inches equal to its Flee roll.
Diagram showing the blue unit moving forward a distance equal to its pursuit roll.
4. The blue unit then moves directly forward a number of inches equal to their pursuit roll.
